Poppy Treffry
Poppy Treffry the company (as opposed to the person!) was founded in 2003 when it was just Poppy and one cranky Singer sewing machine that her granddad had found on a dump! Poppy put together a small collection of bags, cushions and tea cosies which were quickly snapped up by galleries and boutiques locally and across the UK.
They now produce a much larger range of gifts and homewares all featuring Poppy’s quirky designs and a sense of humour! All of their products are either handmade in England or sourced from UK manufacturers and they have tea towels printed in Cornwall, ceramics made in Stoke on Trent and printed cushions from Lincolnshire.
Poppy Treffry products grace the shelves of some very fine stores across the UK, USA and Japan.
Poppy has written two books on freehand machine embroidery and opened her first shop in St Ives in 2010. She’s very much involved in the day to day running of the company.
