Philosophy

We are talking about people and their passion – especially for tea, but also for the whole thing. Tea farmers, employees, tea tasters, the packaging team - all have part in the creation and delivery of our teas.
Our mission is clear: offering top organic teas from controlled organic farming – without losing sight of the human factor. How do we do that? For example, by visiting the tea plantations, talking to the local people and making our own picture of the circumstances. We want sustainable land use and fair pay for the workers. And of course tea farmers with attention to detail. The tea that is produced is original and of the highest quality. It brings unique taste experiences and pleasure in tea enjoyment. We want to pass on all this to you - with every single cup of Pure Tea.

Organic local cultivation
Care and quality assurance begin at the beginning of the journey of tea - in the production and selection of tea. We buy our tea almost exclusively from tea plantations, which grow and harvest the tea in the traditional way. Visits on site ensure that we can directly assess the location and goods - for example green tea from Japan or China. Sustainable land use is just as important to us as fair payment. Like you, we are happy to pay more for a high-quality tea, which is picked and processed by fairly paid workers.

The quality of our tea
Having arrived at our facility in Germany, the tea is once again subjected to consistent quality assurance. Each batch that we achieve is checked for possible residues in a recognised and independent testing institute.
The tea is tested optically and sensorily by Ralf; one of the owners of the company. In addition to the taste, the smell and colour of the infusion are also evaluated. Thanks to the multi-layered quality control, directly on site and in Germany, we can always offer you an unmistakable pleasure, which we guarantee through the organic label.
After quality control, the tea is packaged and prepared for its last trip to your home. Since the very beginning of the company, processingf and packaging in Lüneburg has been handled by our valued team. We call them our 'Life Support'. We couldn't imagine Pure Tea without the tea packed by these unique people.

Original taste
When you reach your home, there is only one thing important for the tea at the end of its long journey: a special experience and its taste, which is convincing!
For us, however, the cycle now starts again, because you as customers and tea drinkers should be able to discover and enjoy the organic tea in high quality again and again. The Pure Tea range therefore includes a special selection of original teas, each of which offers a unique taste experience that comes from the typical characteristics of its provenance, its leaf grade and its harvest time.
