Tea leaves contain naturally occurring caffeine. If you are in search of something different, this is where decaffeinated and caffeine-free teas come in. These two terms are often used interchangeably, but there is a difference between the two.

Caffeine-free teas don't contain any amounts of caffeine, while decaffeinated teas contain caffeine which is later removed. Typically, decaffeinated tea contains 2mgs of caffeine, as the decaffeination process can't totally remove it all. Caffeine-free teas don't have any caffeine to begin with thanks to their natural composition.

Caffeine-free teas are generally herbal, fruit or rooibos teas with flavours such as camomile, jasmine and mint.
